Andy Straden ''(also spelled Stradan)'' (November 27, 1897 – June 1967) was a soccer Striker (association football), forward who was a member of the United States at the 1924 Summer Olympics, 1924 U.S. Olympic Team and played professionally in the first American Soccer League (1921-1933), American Soccer League. American Soccer League Straden, was an amateur player in the early 1920s with Fleisher Yarn when the team won the 1924 National Amateur Cup. That summer, he was selected to play with the United States at the Summer Olympics. When he returned to the United States, Straden rejoined Fleisher Yarn for the 1924-1925 American Soccer League (1921-1933), American Soccer League season. This was Yarn’s first season as a professional club and its first season in the ASL. Bothwell
Bothwell is a conservation village in the South Lanarkshire council area of Scotland. It lies on the north bank of the River Clyde, adjacent to Uddingston and Hamilton, east-south-east of Glasgow city centre. Shawsheen (Shoshine) (1845-?) otherwise known as She-towitch, or Susan, was a Native American woman who was a part of the Tabeguache (Uncompahgre) Ute tribe and sister to Chief Ouray. She is known for her capture by the Cheyenne and Arapaho in 1860 or 1861, her protection and care for Arvilla and Josephine Meeker during their captivity, as well as her role within the politics of her tribe as a female leader alongside her sister-in-law, Chipeta. Childhood and marriage Shawsheen was born either on the Western Slope of Colorado, or in northern New Mexico and historians believe that she spent most of her childhood in the Uncompahgre Valley.
