Andy Patalan
Andrew Patalan (born March 14, 1970) is an American musician best known as the guitarist and backing vocalist for the alternative rock band Sponge. He also is a founding member of Solid Frog and Throttlebody. He was also the guitarist for Brownsville Station from 2011–2013. His brother Tim Patalan is the bassist and producer of Sponge. He is the owner of his home studio, ATP Productions in Shelby Township, Michigan, and he is the co-owner of The Loft Recording Studio in Saline, Michigan. Personal life Patalan grew up on a farm in Saline, Michigan with his brother Tim. One of the barns on this farm was later turned into his recording studio called The Loft Recording Studio, which he is the co-owner of along with his brother, and has been the studio for recording over 500 bands since 1988. Lorain () is a city in Lorain County, Ohio, United States. The municipality is located in northeastern Ohio on Lake Erie, at the mouth of the Black River, about 30 miles west of Cleveland. Nineteen Wheels
19 Wheels was an American alternative rock band from East Lansing, Michigan. It was founded by Chris Johnston (vocals, guitar), Scott Owens (guitar), Tim Marzorati (bass); drummer Rob Dickey joined in 2000. History The group was initially known as Hannibals before changing their name to Nineteen Wheels. The group first attracted attention with their 1996 EP, ''The Tempermill Recordings'', which led to a spot touring on the ESPN Extreme Games Tour in 1996. They later signed to Aware Records for their 1997 release, ''Six Ways from Sunday''. After Aware entered into a joint venture with Columbia, ''Six Ways from Sunday'' was reissued in an "amended version" in October 1997. This amended version featured an additional album track and was identified by the predominantly red cover, as opposed to the blue cover on the original release. In a review of the album, Allmusic noted, "The band maintains a muscular, tight sound throughout, thanks in large part to superb bass and drum work."

Grunge
Grunge (sometimes referred to as the Seattle sound) is an alternative rock genre and subculture that emerged during the in the American Pacific Northwest state of Washington, particularly in Seattle and nearby towns. Grunge fuses elements of punk rock and heavy metal, but without punk's structure and speed. The genre featured the distorted electric guitar sound used in both genres, although some bands performed with more emphasis on one or the other. Like these genres, grunge typically uses electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and vocals. Grunge also incorporates influences from indie rock bands such as Sonic Youth. Stop The Bleeding (Sponge Album)
''Stop the Bleeding'' is the seventh studio album by the alternative rock band Sponge. It was released in 2013 on Three One Three Records. This album features five songs previously released on Sponge's 2010 EP '' Destroy the Boy''. These five songs are "Dare to Breathe", "Destroy the Boy", "Come In from the Rain", "Star", and "Before the End", however these songs appear in a different order than they did on ''Destroy the Boy''. Also on this album, Sponge does a rendition of the classic Jim Croce song "Time in a Bottle", along with other new tracks. The album was originally only sold at the Summerland Tour music festival, but then had a national release on September 17, 2013 and now can be found everywhere. Everclear is an American rock band formed in Portland, Oregon, in 1991. The band was formed by Art Alexakis, the band's lead songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist; and for most of the band's height of popularity, consisted of Craig Montoya on bass guitar and Greg Eklund on drums. After the limited release of their independently released debut album, '' World of Noise'', the band found success with their first three albums on Capitol Records: '' Sparkle and Fade'', '' So Much for the Afterglow'', and '' Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile'', which were all certified platinum in sales. Live (, often typeset as LĪVE or +LĪVE+) is an American rock band formed in York, Pennsylvania, in 1984 by Ed Kowalczyk (lead vocals, guitars), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass), Chad Gracey (drums), and Chad Taylor (guitars). Kowalczyk is the only remaining member of this original lineup. Filter (band)
Filter is an American rock band formed in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio, by singer Richard Patrick and guitarist and programmer Brian Liesegang. The band was formed when Patrick desired to start his own band after leaving Nine Inch Nails as their touring guitarist. Their debut album '' Short Bus'' was released in 1995 and ended up going platinum, largely due to the success of the single " Hey Man Nice Shot". After the album, the band would go through the first of many lineup changes, leaving Patrick as the only consistent member across all releases. After Liesegang's departure in 1997, Patrick recorded a follow up album with the ''Short Bus'' touring band members, who became full-time members thereafter. The Summerland Tour is an annual touring music festival, founded by Art Alexakis of Everclear and mainly featuring bands that began in the 1990s alternative rock era. Summerland 2012 Summerland Tour made its debut in 2012 featuring Everclear, Gin Blossoms, Lit, Marcy Playground and Sugar Ray.
