Andrew Knight (writer)
Andrew John Knight (born 29 September 1953) is an Australian TV writer and producer of film and television, known for his work on '' ''Rake'''', ''Jack Irish'', ''Hacksaw Ridge'', ''Ali's Wedding'' and '' The Water Diviner''. In 1989, he co founded, with Steve Vizard, the production company Artist Services, and in 2000, he formed Cornerstore Films, which has produced three major television series including the award-winning ''After The Deluge'', which Andrew wrote and produced. At the 2015 AACTA Awards, Knight received the Longford Lyell Award for Outstanding Lifetime Achievement. The term director is a title given to the senior management staff of businesses and other large organizations. The term is in common use with two distinct meanings, the choice of which is influenced by the size and global reach of the organization and the historical and geographic context. Further to this, the term is also used in reference to various technical (legal) definitions specific to corporate governance legislation in individual countries. SeaChange
''SeaChange'' is an Australian television program that ran from 1998 to 2000 on the ABC and in 2019 on the Nine Network. It was created by Andrew Knight and Deborah Cox and starred Sigrid Thornton, David Wenham, William McInnes, John Howard, Tom Long, Kevin Harrington, and Kerry Armstrong. The director was Michael Carson. Premise Laura Gibson (Sigrid Thornton), a high-flying city lawyer, is prompted to undergo a 'seachange' with her children Miranda and Rupert after her husband is arrested for fraud and is found to have had an affair with her sister. Laura becomes the magistrate for the small coastal town of Pearl Bay. The town is isolated from the rest of the world since the local bridge was destroyed in one of the natural disasters common to Pearl Bay. Although they initially miss the city, the family comes to love the town and its many colourful characters, and they also enjoy having more quality time with each other. ''The Fast Lane'' is an Australian television show that aired between 1985 (Season 1) and 1987 (Season 2) on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). It was created by John Clarke and Andrew Knight and starred Terry Bader, Richard Healy, Debra Lawrance and Peter Hosking.
