Andrea Demirović
Andrea Demirović ( sr-cyrl, Андреа Демировић; born 17 June 1985), also known as simply Andrea, is a Montenegrin singer and a student of the Cetinje Music Academy – ''Music Pedagogy''. Demirović was born in Podgorica, Montenegro (then part of SFR Yugoslavia). Her breakthrough came at the Sunčane Skale festival in 2002. She then had considerable successes at regional festivals, including the Serbo-Montenegrin and Montenegrin national finals for selecting the Eurovision Song Contest entry. Her first album, titled "Andrea", was released in 2006, under the City Records label. Her follow-up album is due for release later in 2009, and the first single from the new album is "The Queen of the Night", a cover of Mirela's Misión Eurovisión 2007 song. In 2015, she took part in Odbrojavanje za Beč (Countdown to Vienna), the Serbian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 but did not win. Titograd
Podgorica (Cyrillic: Подгорица, ; lit. 'under the hill') is the capital and largest city of Montenegro. The city was formerly known as Titograd (Cyrillic: Титоград, ) between 1946 and 1992—in the period that Montenegro formed, as the Socialist Republic of Montenegro in honour of Marshal Josip Broz Tito. The city was largely destroyed during the bombing of Podgorica in World War II and accordingly the city is now dominated by architecture from the following decades of communism. Further but less substantial damage was caused by the 1999 bombing by NATO forces. The surrounding landscape is predominantly mountainous terrain. Montenegro participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Just Get Out of My Life" written by Ralph Siegel, Bernd Meinunger and José Juan Santana Rodríguez. The song was performed by Andrea Demirović, who was internally selected by the Montenegrin broadcaster Radio i televizija Crne Gore (RTCG) to represent the nation at the 2009 contest in Moscow, Russia. "Euro Neuro" is a song by Montenegrin singer Rambo Amadeus. The song was chosen to represent Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012; it was the first song performed at the contest in the first semi-final and failed to advance to the final. Antonije Pušić (; born 14 June 1963), known professionally as Rambo Amadeus () is a Montenegrin author. A self-titled "musician, poet, and media manipulator", he is a noted artist across the countries of former Yugoslavia. Stefan Filipović (Serbian Cyrillic: Стефан Филиповић) (born January 18, 1987) is a Montenegrin pop singer. Biography Filipović was born in Titograd, now Podgorica, and studied in the Cetinje Music Academy. He started singing at age seven and he took part in various festivals in Montenegro and abroad. On January 27, he won MontenegroSong 2008, hence gaining the right to represent Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, that was held in Belgrade, Serbia. The song performed was chosen internally by a 30-member jury appointed by RTCG.
