Jayabharathi is an Indian actress. She is a two-time recipient of the Kerala State Film Award for best actress. Jayabharathi's first leading role was given by director P. Bhaskaran for his movie Kattukurangu in 1969. Later she became one of the most successful Malayalam film actresses and performed with such notable leading men as Prem Nazir, Madhu, Vincent, Jayan, M. K. Bhaskaran Nair (1 March 1929 – 29 March 1990), known by his stage name Adoor Bhasi, was an Indian actor and film director from Kerala. Adoor Bhasi was almost always cast as the man who stands next to the hero. Pappukutty Bhagavathar ( ml, പാപ്പുകുട്ടി ഭാഗവതർ; 29 March 1913 – 22 June 2020) was an Indian singer and actor in Malayalam cinema. He was the father of actor Mohan Jose and singer Selma George. Yusufali Kechery (Yūsaphali Kēccēri; യൂസഫലി കേച്ചേരി 16 May 1934 – 21 March 2015) was a poet, film lyricist, film producer and director from Kerala, India. He wrote during the modern era of Malayalam poetry and won the Odakkuzhal Award, the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award and the Vallathol Award. Career K. P.
