Amir Khamzat
Aslan Avgazarovich Byutukayev (), also known as Emir Khamzat and Abubakar (22 October 1974 – 20 January 2021) was a Chechen terrorist commander in the Islamic State (IS) Wilayah al-Qawqaz, the commander of the Riyad-us Saliheen Brigade of Martyrs and a close associate of the deceased Caucasus Emirate leader Dokka Umarov. Byutukayev was listed as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the United States on 13 July 2016. He was killed by Russian special operatives in January 2021. Biography Until 2010, Emir Khamzat was a little-known field commander. In the summer of that year, there was a dispute between Dokka Umarov and several commanders of the Chechen wing of the Caucasus Emirate. Achkhoy-Martan
Achkhoy-Martan (russian: Ачхой-Мартан, ce, Iашхой-Марта, ''Jaşxoy-Marta'' or Тӏехьа-Марта, ''Theẋa-Marta'') is a rural locality (a '' selo'') in, and the administrative center of Achkhoy-Martanovsky District, Chechnya. Administrative and municipal status Municipally, Achkhoy-Martan is incorporated as Achkhoy-Martanovskoye rural settlement. It is the administrative center of the municipality and is the only settlement included in it. Achkhoy-Martan, which is the largest rural settlement in Chechnya, is also the administrative center of Achkhoy-Martanovsky District. Domodedovo International Airport Bombing
The Domodedovo International Airport bombing was a suicide bombing in the international arrival hall of Moscow's Domodedovo International, in Domodedovsky District, Moscow Oblast, on 24 January 2011. The bombing killed 37 people and injured 173 others, including 86 who had to be hospitalised. Of the casualties, 31 died at the scene, three later in hospitals, one en route to a hospital, one on 2 February after having been put in a coma, and another on 24 February after being hospitalised in grave condition. Russia's Federal Investigative Committee later identified the suicide bomber as a 20-year-old from the North Caucasus, and said that the attack was aimed "first and foremost" at foreign citizens. A suicide attack is any violent attack, usually entailing the attacker detonating an explosive, where the attacker has accepted their own death as a direct result of the attacking method used. Said Buryatsky (February 10, 1982 – March 2, 2010) was an Islamist militant leader in the Russian North Caucasus. Buryatsky had been among the most-wanted men in Russia, and he was considered an ideologue leader of the Islamist rebels in Chechnya and southern Russia. He was known in the region as a Russian counterpart of Osama bin Laden. Buryatsky had been identified in YouTube videos, wearing camouflage while preaching radical Islam with an assault rifle. Aslambek Ilimsultanovich Vadalov (russian: Асламбек Илимсултанович Вадалов), also known by his nom de guerre ''Emir Aslambek'', is a Chechen-Russian rebel leader fighting in the North Caucasus. He was appointed the supreme leader of the Caucasus Emirate on 1 August 2010, though this was later retracted. Early life Aslambek Vadalov was born in 1972 and is a native of Ishkoy-Yurt, a village in the eastern portion of Chechnya's Gudermes. Muhannad (mujahid Emir)
Melfi Al Hussaini Al Harbi, more commonly known as Muhannad (; Mukhannad or Mukhanad, russian: Муханнад, sometimes Моганнед or Моханнад), and also known as Abu Anas (), was a Mujahid Emir (commander) fighting in Chechnya. Following the death of Abu Hafs al-Urduni on 26 November 2006, he was named leader of the battalion of foreign fighters once commanded by the notorious Saudi-born Ibn al-Khattab. Although Russian intelligence has claimed that he was a native of Jordan who served as a combat pilot (achieving the rank of Lieutenant) in the Jordanian Air Force and who also underwent military training in the United States this is not considered to be true.
