''American Ride'' is an American historical documentary series produced by BYUtv and hosted by motorcycle-riding host Stan Ellsworth. From the seat of his Harley Davidson, Ellsworth narrates the series focusing on pivotal events in American history and visits the places where those events unfolded. BYU TV (stylized as BYUtv) is a television channel, founded in 2000, which is owned and operated as a part of Brigham Young University (BYU). The channel, available through cable and satellite distributors in the United States, produces a number of original series and documentaries with emphases in comedy, history, lifestyle, music and drama.
