The Bachelor was the first season of ABC reality television series '' The Bachelor''. The show featured 31-year-old Alex Michel, a Harvard educated management consultant from Charlottesville, Virginia. Alexander Mattheus Michel (born August 10, 1970) is an American businessman, producer, and television personality. He was '' The Bachelor'' during its premiere season on ABC in 2002. Personal life Michel was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, the son of a corporate executive and a marriage and family therapist. He has two younger sisters. At Darien High School, Michel was the valedictorian, student body president, homecoming king, and captain of the swim team. He graduated with honors from Harvard College, majoring in History and Literature, and was a member of the varsity swimming and water polo teams. During college, he spent a summer working as an analyst in the Office of Management and Budget in the Executive Office of the President of the United States. The Bachelorette was the first season of ABC reality television series '' The Bachelorette''. The season premiered on January 8, 2003, and featured 29-year-old Trista Rehn, a pediatric physical therapist and former Miami Heat dancer from Indiana. Eastchester is a town in southern Westchester County, New York, United States. The population was over 34,641 at the 2020 United States census over 32,363 at the 2010 census. There are two villages within the town: Bronxville and Tuckahoe. Plano ( ) is a city in Collin County and Denton County, Texas, United States. It had a population of 285,494 at the 2020 census. It is a principal city of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
