Alphie The Alpha Turtle
Alphie the Alpha Turtle is a Monumental inflatable sculpture public artwork. It is shaped like a sea turtle and is covered with an abstract black and white pattern inspired by the forms of the Great Barrier Reef. The term monumental sculpture is often used in art history and criticism, but not always consistently.
