Allondon
The Allondon () is a river in France (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region) and Switzerland (canton of Geneva). It is long, of which 6.1 km in Switzerland and 2.5 km on the French–Swiss border. Its source is located at elevation in the commune of Échenevex in the Ain department in eastern France. It flows into the Rhône at the village of Russin in the canton of Geneva The Canton of Geneva, officially the Republic and Canton of Geneva (french: link=no, République et canton de Genève; frp, Rèpublica et canton de Geneva; german: Republik und Kanton Genf; it, Repubblica e Cantone di Ginevra; rm, Republica e ... in Switzerland. Échenevex
Échenevex () is a commune in the Ain department in eastern France. Geography Échenevex is located between the Jura mountains and the Lake Geneva region. It is situated on the slopes of the Jura mountains, just 3 km south of Gex. The Large Hadron Collider passes under Échenevex, about 100 m below the surface. Echenevex consists partly of the Jura mountains natural park area and is approximately 8 minutes from the Crozet Telecabine ski station, and 15 minutes from Geneva International Airport. Rhône
The Rhône ( , ; wae, Rotten ; frp, Rôno ; oc, Ròse ) is a major river in France and Switzerland, rising in the Alps and flowing west and south through Lake Geneva and southeastern France before discharging into the Mediterranean Sea.
