Alison Van Uytvanck
Alison Van Uytvanck (; born 26 March 1994) is a Belgian professional tennis player. Van Uytvanck has won five singles and two doubles WTA Tour titles and three Challenger Tour singles titles, as well as 12 singles and two doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. In August 2018, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 37. Personal life Van Uytvanck was born in the small town of Grimbergen to René Van Uytvanck and Krista Laemers. She started playing tennis at age five when her older brother Sean introduced her to the game. She has a twin brother named Brett. Van Uytvanck graduated from high school at Sint-Donatus in Merchtem. As a junior, she alternated between training with local coach Sacha Katsnelson and the Flemish Tennis Association, where she was coached by Ann Devries. Anna-Lena Grönefeld
Anna-Lena Grönefeld (also spelled Groenefeld; born 4 June 1985) is a German former professional tennis player. Competing as a professional from 2003 until 2019, she won one singles title on the WTA Tour, at the 2006 Mexican Open, and reached the quarterfinals of the 2006 French Open. She is a two-time Grand Slam champion in mixed doubles, having won the 2009 Wimbledon Championships alongside Mark Knowles, and the 2014 French Open with Jean-Julien Rojer. Grönefeld also finished runner-up in mixed doubles at the 2016 Wimbledon Championships and 2017 French Open. In women's doubles, Grönefeld won 17 titles on WTA Tour, most notably the 2005 Rogers Cup with Martina Navratilova, and reached seven Grand Slam semifinals. Greet Minnen (born 14 August 1997) is a Belgian tennis player. She has career-high WTA rankings of World No. 69 in singles, achieved on 18 October 2021, and World No. 50 in doubles, attained on 6 June 2022. Career Minnen made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the 2018 Luxembourg Open in the doubles draw, partnering Alison Van Uytvanck. Kim Antonie Lode Clijsters (; born 8 June 1983) is a Belgian former professional tennis player. Clijsters reached the world No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles, having held both rankings simultaneously in 2003. She won six major titles, four in singles and two in doubles. Merchtem
Merchtem () is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the villages of Brussegem and Hamme, the hamlets of Ossel and Peizegem, and Merchtem proper. On July 9, 2009, Merchtem had a total population of 15,298. The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles).
