Aleksandra Radović
Aleksandra Radović ( sr-cyr, Александра Радовић, born 10 September 1974) is a Serbian singer-songwriter, vocal coach, television judge and voice actress. Born in Bogatić, she graduated from the Music Academy in Novi Sad, majoring in music pedagogy. Radović gained popularity upon her debut album in 2003, which was preceded by the hit-single ''Kao so u moru'' (''Like Salt in The Sea''). Following her second release, ''Domino'', in 2007 she held her first concert in Belgrade's Sava Centar. Her third album, titled ''Žar Ptica'' (''Bird of Fire''), was declared the second best-selling album of the year in Serbia. In 2009, Radović also embarked on her second regional tour and became the first female artist to perform in Sava Centar for two nights in a row. Her fourth, ''Carstvo'' (''Kingdom''), and fifth, ''Predvorje života'' (''Entrance to Life''), albums were released in 2016 and 2020, respectively. Bogatić
Bogatić ( sr-cyr, Богатић, ) is a town and municipality located in the Mačva District of western Serbia. As of 2011 census, it has 28,843 residents. Geography Bogatić is located in the western part of Serbia. The nearest large settlement is Šabac, Mačva's administrative center, located 24.5 kilometers to the east. Its distance from the capital, Belgrade, is 99.7 kilometers. Bogatić is located along the northwestern part of the fertile and rich lands in Mačva. Two rivers flow through the town: the Drina from the west and the Sava from the north. Bogatić holds large amounts of groundwater underneath. The population heavily relies on their water supply from underground sources. Beovizija 2007
Serbia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Molitva" written by Saša Milošević Mare and Vladimir Graić. The song was performed by Marija Šerifović. The Serbian national broadcaster, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) organised the national final ''Beovizija 2007'' in order to select the Serbian entry for the 2007 contest in Helsinki, Finland. The national final consisted of two shows: a semi-final and a final on 7 and 8 March 2007, respectively. Twenty entries competed in the semi-final where the top ten qualified to the final following the combination of votes from a three-member jury panel and a public televote. Beovizija 2003
Beovizija 2003 was the first edition of Beovizija. It was held from April 12 to April 14, 2003. Unlike the other editions of Beovizija, this wasn't involved in choosing the Serbo-Montenegrin entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. Serbia and Montenegro made their debut next year in Istanbul with "Lane Moje". The festival was supposed to take place from March 23 - 25, 2003 but was delayed due to emergency rule in-force at the time in the country due to the assassination of the prime minister of Serbia Zoran Đinđić. This Beovizija was planned to be the "rehearsal" for next years Eurovision selection. Beovizija 2003 was very different from the other ones that would follow. From 200 songs submitted to participate at the festival only 28 were chosen. They were sung over 2 night April 12 and 13, when the voting was conducted and the Serbian music awards handed out.
