Albion Football Club
Albion Football Club is a Uruguayan football club located in Montevideo that currently plays in the Uruguayan Segunda División, the second highest division of the Uruguayan football league system. Founded in 1891, it is the oldest football club in Uruguay, and is considered to be the oldest because other institutions such as Montevideo Rowing Club and Montevideo Cricket Club had been founded before but they were not specifically dedicated to football. In July 2018, Albion became a member of the Club of Pioneers, a worldwide association involving oldest football clubs in the world, as the "oldest active football club in Uruguay". The club returned to the Primera División by winning the 2021 Segunda División championship, its first promotion to the top flight since 1908. Club Nacional de Football (, ''National Football Club'' or simply as Nacional) is a Uruguayan professional sports club based in Montevideo. The club was founded on 14 May 1899 as a result of the merger between ''Uruguay Athletic Club'' and ''Montevideo Fútbol Club''. Although its main focus is football, the club hosts many other activities, including basketball, futsal, tennis, cycling, volleyball, and chess. In domestic tournaments, Nacional has won the Primera División title 49 times, most recently in the 2020 season. Lobos Athletic Club
Lobos Athletic Club is an Argentine sports club based in the city of Lobos, Buenos Aires. Although other sports were practised at the club, Lobos Athletic is mostly known for its football team, who took part in the Primera División championships until its disaffection, being runner-up in 1898 and 1899. Nowadays Lobos AC plays in "Liga Lobense de Fútbol", a regional league of Buenos Aires Province. Apart from football, other sports sections of the club are field hockey, basketball and volleyball. Punta Carretas is a '' barrio'' (neighbourhood or district) of Montevideo, Uruguay. Location Punta Carretas shares borders with Parque Rodó and Pocitos to the north, while from east south and west, it is delimited by the coastline, including the Rambla (seaside avenue): Rambla Presidente Wilson to the west, Rambla Mahatma Gandhi to the east. Belgrano Athletic Club is an Argentine amateur sports club from Belgrano, Buenos Aires. One of Argentina's oldest institutions still in existence, Belgrano was one of the four clubs that founded the Argentine Rugby Union in 1899. The senior team currently competes at Top 12, the first division of the Unión de Rugby de Buenos Aires league system. Belgrano Athletic was one of the most prominent teams during the first years of football in Argentina, having won three domestic league titles, one national cup and two international cups.
