Al-Raed
Al Raed Saudi Football Club ( ''Nādī ar-Rāʾid'', "Pioneer Club") is a Saudi football club based in Buraidah, and the first of its kind in the Qassim region of Saudi Arabia. One of the club's notable founders is Abdulaziz Al-Aboudi. Established in 1954, Al Raed have played in the Saudi Pro League, the top division of Saudi football, since 2008. History The team was able to qualify for the Premier League Saudi Arabia, in 1980–1981. It fought Club K in the qualifiers held in Riyadh. In 1986 it was the first team from the Qassim region to enter the Saudi Premier League. The team repeated this ascension to the Premier League at the end of 1989, 1992, 1998, 2002 and 2007. The Senyhassad junior team reached the Saudi Premier League clubs for juniors in 1999, and in 2003. 2021–22 Saudi Professional League
The 2021–22 Saudi Professional League is the 46th edition of the Saudi Professional League, the top Saudi professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1976. Fixtures for the 2021–22 season were announced on 18 July 2021. Al-Hilal are the two-time defending champions after winning their 17th title last season. Al-Fayha, Al-Hazem, and Al-Tai join as the three promoted clubs from the 2020–21 MS League. They replace Al-Ain, Al-Qadsiah, and Al-Wehda who were relegated to the 2021–22 MS League. Sultan Al-Farhan ( ar, سلطان الفرحان, born 25 September 1996) is a Saudi Arabian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Al-Raed, whom he captains. Career Al-Farhan started his career at Al-Hilal and is a product of Al-Hilal's youth system. He signed his first professional contract with the club on 31 January 2017. Abdulaziz Al-Jebreen (Arabic: عبدالعزيز الجبرين; born 19 April 1990 in Riyadh) is a Saudi Arabian professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Al-Raed. Career Al-Jebreen started his career at the youth teams of Al-Shabab before moving to Al-Raed in 2010. Awadh Khamis Al-Faraj ( ar, عوض خميس آل فرج ; born July 15, 1988) is a Saudi Arabian footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Al-Raed. Yahya Sulaiman Ali al-Shehri ( ar, يحيى سليمان علي الشهري; born 26 June 1990) is a Saudi Arabian professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Al-Raed and the Saudi Arabia national team.
