Al-Kahrabaa Sports Club ( ar, نادي الكهرباء الرياضي, lit=Electricity Club) is an Iraqi professional football club based in the Al-Rusafa, Iraq, Rusafa District, near the Tigris river, Baghdad, that plays in Iraqi Premier League. History Al-Kahrabaa Sports Club was founded on 21 July 2001 by the Ministry of Electricity (Iraq), Ministry of Electricity. They were promoted to the Iraqi Premier League for the first time for the 2004–05 Iraqi Premier League, 2004–05 season where they remained until they got relegated to the Iraq Division One in 2013. Luay Salah
Luay Salah Hassan ( ar, لؤي صلاح حسن , born February 7, 1982 in Baghdad, Iraq) is an Iraqi former Football (soccer), football player. Defensor Sporting
Defensor Sporting Club is a sports club based in Montevideo, Uruguay. Younis Abed Ali ( ar, يونس عبد علي) (born 1968 in Al-Thawra, Baghdad) is an Iraqi former football forward who played for Iraq in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, 1988 Arab Nations Cup in Amman and 1989 Peace and Friendship Cup in Kuwait. Al-Shorta Sports Club ( ar, نادي الشرطة الرياضي, lit=''Police Sports Club'') is an Iraqi sports club based in Al-Rusafa, Baghdad. It has teams in 17 different sports, more than any other Iraqi club, and the best known section of the club is the football team, whose origins date back to 1932. In 1974, following the Iraq Football Association's decision to implement a clubs-only policy for domestic competitions, Al-Shorta were established as a sports club.
