Al-Jazeera Club (Jordan)
Al-Jazeera Club ( ar, نادي الجزيرة) is a Jordanian multisports club based in Amman. Founded in 1947, the team plays at Amman International Stadium. They complete in the Jordanian Pro League, the top flight of Jordanian football. History In the early 1940s, the club consisted of boys who shared common traits like age, social status, friendship, neighborhood, education and love for sports, especially football. They began practicing football as a team with intense training, and felt that their talents merged well. Amman International Stadium
The Amman International Stadium ( ar, ستاد عمان الدولي) is a stadium in Al-Hussein City, Amman, Jordan. It is the largest stadium in Jordan. The stadium was built in 1964 and opened in 1968. It is owned by the Government of Jordan and operated by the Higher Council of Youth. It is also the home stadium of the Jordan national football team and Al-Faisaly SC. It has a current capacity of 17,619 spectators. Usage In addition to Jordan's home games, the stadium hosts other major games in Jordanian football as well including the Jordanian Pro League, Jordan FA Cup, Jordan FA Shield and Jordan Super Cup games. Uhlsport GmbH is a German sporting goods manufacturer. Originally established in 1948 as "Haase & Uhl OHG" and later renamed "Karl Uhl GmbH", the company became "uhlsport GmbH" in 1994. AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. Al-Kuwait SC and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the most successful clubs in the competition's history, having won three titles each. Clubs from Kuwait have won four titles, making them the most successful nation in the competition.
