Air3
Air3 Radio is the Campus radio, student radio station of the University of Stirling. Air3 Radio broadcasts a full schedule during normal semester dates (September - December and February - May) and a limited number of shows within holiday and exam periods. The station currently has shows running from 07:00 - 03:00, 7 days a week. History Radio Airthrey was set up in the early 1970s as Scotland's first campus-based student radio station. The station was later rebranded as 'Air3 1350' and most recently 'Air3 Radio' reflecting the change in technology and broadcasting technique. The student radio station was a highly recommended club for University of Stirling Students. However, once the COVID-19 pandemic began memberships were in short supply. In May of 2022, a new committee began making preparations to revitalize the society from the ground up in its first redevelopment since 2009. University Of Stirling
The University of Stirling (, gd, Oilthigh Shruighlea (abbreviated as Stir or Shruiglea, in post-nominals) is a public university in Stirling, Scotland, founded by royal charter in 1967. It is located in the Central Belt of Scotland, built within the walled Airthrey Castle estate. The university campus is approximately in size, incorporating the Stirling University Innovation Park and the Dementia Centre. The campus is located in the foothills of the Ochil Hills. Ally McCrae
Ally McCrae (born 1987) is a radio DJ best known for presenting the BBC Introducing show on BBC Radio 1 with Jen Long. He previously presented the BBC Introducing in Scotland show until it ended in June 2012. He is co-creator of Detour Scotland. In 2011, Scotland on Sunday ranked him Scotland's 9th "Most Eligible Man". Introducing On 2 November 2010 it was announced that Ally McCrae would take over from Vic Galloway as presenter of BBC Radio 1 Introducing show as part of a UK wide shake up of BBC Radio 1's Introducing set up. He now presents the BBC Introducing show with Jen Long. He was also the UK voice actor of Jet-Vac from the Skylanders series. Stirling
Stirling (; sco, Stirlin; gd, Sruighlea ) is a city in central Scotland, northeast of Glasgow and north-west of Edinburgh. Greg McHugh
Greg McHugh (born 5 January 1980) is a Scottish actor. He is the creator, writer and star of the BBC1 comedy series '' Gary: Tank Commander''. He also played Howard in the Channel 4 comedy '' Fresh Meat''. Early life and education Greg McHugh was born in Morningside, Edinburgh, on 5 January 1980. His father was a civil servant, and his mother a teacher. McHugh has two elder brothers. McHugh attended St Peter's RC primary school and then St Thomas of Aquin's High School. He studied business at the University of Stirling and trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. Initially, McHugh had intended to study sports science but found it too difficult. McHugh's native accent is a softer variation of the Edinburgh accent. Tank Commander
A tank is an armoured fighting vehicle intended as a primary offensive weapon in front-line ground combat. Tank designs are a balance of heavy firepower, strong armour, and good battlefield mobility provided by tracks and a powerful engine; usually their main armament is mounted in a turret. They are a mainstay of modern 20th and 21st century ground forces and a key part of combined arms combat.
