Agent X (Marvel Comics)
Agent X (Nijo Minamiyori, alias Alex Hayden) is a fictional mercenary appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Gail Simone and Alvin Lee, the character first appeared in ''Agent X'' #1 (Sept 2002), by Gail Simone and UDON. Publication history ''Agent X'' was born out of Marvel Comics' long-running ''Deadpool'' series with experiments including the "miniseries within a series," (''Deadpool: Agent of Weapon X'' and ''Deadpool: Funeral for a Freak'', where the main series' numbering was demoted to secondary status below the "miniseries" numbering), having failed to stymie the leak. The decision was then taken to run a "final arc" to close the series, then restart it from #1 with an X in the title in an attempt to more closely identify it with their popular X-Men franchise (as part of the same effort, ''Cable'' was changed to ''Soldier X'' and '' X-Force'' was changed to ''X-Statix''). Alvin Lee (comic Book Artist)
Alvin Lee is a Canadian comic book artist known for his manga-styled art. Lee is the co-creator, along with writer Gail Simone of the character Agent X. Lee has worked under major comic book publishers including Image Comics under the UDON label, UDON studios as an independent publisher, Marvel Comics, DC Comics and Wildstorm Productions. Career Alvin Lee started his comic book career at 17, working as a comic book inker, mostly for Pat Lee's art, and was co-founder of now defunct Dreamwave Productions. Lee worked on titles such as '' Dark Minds'', ''Neon Cyber'', and ''Warlands''. His first comic as penciller was for ''Warlands: Banished Knights''. In 2001, Lee joined UDON as a lead artist with the revival of Capcom's Street Fighter comic books and Darkstalkers comic books. Evan Dorkin (born April 20, 1965) is an American comics artist and cartoonist. His best known works are the comic books ''Milk and Cheese'' and ''Dork''. His comics often poke fun at fandom, even while making it clear that Dorkin is a fan himself. Life and career Dorkin was born in Brooklyn, New York, and moved with his family to Staten Island when he was 13 years old. Weasel (Jack Hammer) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Weasel is a friend, sidekick, information broker and arms dealer for Deadpool. Weasel is perhaps Deadpool's best friend. However, because of his frequent mood swings and tenuous mental state, Deadpool still often abuses or mistreats him. Cable (Nathan Christopher Charles Summers) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with X-Force and the X-Men. Sandi Brandenberg is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is usually depicted as a supporting character and has been associated with both Deadpool and Agent X. Fictional character biography Sandi first appeared in the Taskmaster limited series.
