Adrian Caceres
Claudio Adrián Cáceres (born 10 January 1982 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine-born Australian former Association football, footballer who last played for Balcatta FC. Club career Caceres started his professional career with English team Southampton F.C., Southampton before spending a few years with lower Football League clubs including Yeovil Town F.C., Yeovil Town, Hull City A.F.C., Hull City, Wycombe Wanderers F.C., Wycombe Wanderers, Brentford F.C., Brentford and Aldershot Town F.C., Aldershot Town . He moved back to Australia to play for Perth Glory FC, Perth Glory for the second time in the inaugural A-League season. While putting in some good performances he was never a first team regular because of injury and moved to Melbourne Victory for the second A-League season, where he has reunited with former Perth Glory teammate, Mark Byrnes. Eugen Josip Galekovic ( ; hr, Eugen Josip Galeković, ; born 12 June 1981) is an Australian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. An own goal, also called a self goal, is where a player performs actions that result in them or their team scoring a goal on themselves, often resulting in a point for the opposing team, such as when a football player kicks a ball into their own net or goal, awarding the other team a point. National Soccer League
The National Soccer League (NSL) was the top-level soccer league in Australia, run by Soccer Australia and later the Australian Soccer Association. The NSL, the A-League's predecessor, spanned 28 seasons from its inception in 1977 until its demise in 2004, when it was succeeded by the A-League competition run by Football Federation Australia, the successor to the Australian Soccer Association. Mark Byrnes
Mark John Byrnes (born 8 February 1982) is an Australian footballer who plays for APIA Leichhardt Tigers in the New South Wales Premier League. Club career After a short stint with SV Salzburg in Austria, he won two NSL championship medals in a row with Perth Glory. Due to the demise of the National Soccer League after the 2003/2004 season, in July of that year he signed with Finnish club, FC Hämeenlinna. He returned to Australia to form part of Melbourne Victory's A-League 2005–06 squad, but found his chances limited by the emergence of younger defenders Adrian Leijer and Daniel Piorkowski.
