''A Shared Dream'' is the debut Japanese studio album by South Korean boy band U-KISS, released on February 29, 2012 by Avex Trax. Background and development In May 2011, U-KISS formally signed under Avex Japan for their Japanese debut. Soon thereafter, an album entitled ''First Kiss'', a compilation of all their songs from their debut Korean album up until their '' Break Time'' album, was released. A Japanese version of their Korean ''Bran New Kiss'' albums and their DVDs from their ''First Kiss Live in Osaka'' event were also released. On June 8, 2011, U-KISS went to stay in Japan for three months to prepare for their official Japanese debut. U-KISS
U-KISS ( ko, 유키스; ja, ユーキス) is a South Korean boy band formed in 2008. Their name is an acronym, standing for Ubiquitous Korean International Idol Super Star. The group's current lineup is composed of Soohyun, Hoon, Kiseop and Jun. Their breakthrough hit was "Man Man Ha Ni" (2009) from their EP ''ContiUKiss''. They released their first full-length album, '' Only One'', on February 3, 2010. In September 2011, U-KISS released their second full-length album, '' Neverland''. Background Before prepareations for U-KISS' first full-length album, ''Only One'' was finalized, "Without You" was the planned lead single. Ballad
A ballad is a form of verse, often a narrative set to music. Ballads derive from the medieval French ''chanson balladée'' or ''ballade'', which were originally "dance songs". ''Bran New Kiss'' (Korean: '브랜드 뉴 키스') is the fifth extended play released by South Korean boy band U-KISS. It is the first EP to feature new members Hoon and AJ. Background and release In November 2010, the band's management announced that U-KISS had been recording new tracks for an upcoming EP. On March 30, 2011, the group released their fifth EP, ''Bran New Kiss'' with the lead single "0330". This was the first single that featured the two new band members, AJ and Hoon. The music video for the EP's single, "0330" was released March 29, the same day as the digital download, via YouTube. An alternate version of the music video for "0330", noted as a "Drama Version", was released on April 1 via Mnet.
