It was founded in 1989 by Laura Ballance and Mac McCaughan. It began as an outlet for music from their band Superchunk and music created by friends, and has expanded .... Titus Andronicus is an American indie rock band formed in Glen Rock, New Jersey, in 2005. The band is composed of singer-lyricist-guitarist Patrick Stickles, guitarist Liam Betson, bassist R.J. Gordon, and drummer Chris Wilson. The group takes its name from the Shakespeare play ''Titus Andronicus'', and has cited musical and stylistic influences such as Neutral Milk Hotel and Pulp. Career Titus Andronicus's first album, '' The Airing of Grievances'', was released in April 2008 and was described as the sound of a "violent, overblown and irreverent" indie band in a positive review by ''Pitchfork''. Bob Dylan (legally Robert Dylan, born Robert Allen Zimmerman, May 24, 1941) is an American singer-songwriter. Often regarded as one of the greatest songwriters of all time, Dylan has been a major figure in popular culture during a career spanning more than 60 years. Much of his most celebrated work dates from the 1960s, when songs such as "Blowin' in the Wind" (1963) and " The Times They Are a-Changin' (1964) became anthems for the civil rights and antiwar movements. Patrick Stickles (born July 28, 1985) is an American musician and the lead singer, frontman, and songwriter of New Jersey-based punk rock band Titus Andronicus. Stickles grew up in Glen Rock, New Jersey and graduated from Glen Rock High School as part of the class of 2004. Musical career Stickles started Titus Andronicus in 2005 when he was a student at Ramapo College Ramapo College of New Jersey (RCNJ) is a public liberal arts college in Mahwah, New Jersey. It is part of New Jersey's public system of higher education. As of the fall 2021 semester, there were a total of 5,732 students enrolled at the college ....
