Albert Jenkins Humbert ("A. J. Humbert") (1821–1877) was a British architect particularly favoured by Albert, Prince Consort, Prince Albert. Amongst the buildings he is particularly associated with are Sandringham House and St. Mildred's Church, Whippingham and both the Duchess of Kent's Mausoleum and the Royal Mausoleum, Frogmore, Royal Mausoleum at Frogmore, within the Home Park of Windsor Castle. Architect
An architect is a person who plans, designs and oversees the construction of buildings. To practice architecture means to provide services in connection with the design of buildings and the space within the site surrounding the buildings that have human occupancy or use as their principal purpose.
