Autovia C-35
The C-35 is a highway in Catalonia, Spain. It connects the Costa Brava with the Autopista AP-7 to Barcelona. The road starts at the junction with the Autovia C-65 and then heads west to the south of Llagostera to Vidreres. This section is being upgraded to Autovia standard. After junctions with the N-II and AP-7 (junction 9) the road follows the river valley below the Montseny Range passing through Maçanet de la Selva, Hostalric, Breda, Sant Celoni before ending at junction 12 of the AP-7 and the Autovia C-60. The C-35 will be part of the Eix Maçanet-Platja d'Aro, with Autovia C-65 and Autovia C-31 C-31 or Eix Costaner is one of Catalonia's primary highways. Autovia C-65
Autovia was a short lived brand of British car from Coventry existing from 1935 to 1938 with production starting in January 1937.''The Times'', Wednesday, 22 September 1937; pg. 6; Issue 47796 The venture was ambitious and even included setting up a school for chauffeurs. The cars were expensive and it was a market sector well served by other companies. 44 cars were made. Large luxury cars The company was created by Riley as a subsidiary to produce large luxury cars and a new factory was built. A 2849 cc 90°V-8, triple camshaft engine was developed from a pair of 1½-litre Riley engine blocks and coupled to a pre selector unit bought from Armstrong Siddeley. Costa Brava
The Costa Brava (; ; "Wild Coast" or "Rough Coast") is a coastal region of Catalonia in northeastern Spain. Sources differ on the exact definition of the Costa Brava. Usually it can be regarded as stretching from the town of Blanes, northeast of Barcelona, to the France, French border – in other words it consists of the coast of the province of Girona. In the 1950s, the Costa Brava was identified by the Spanish government and local entrepreneurs as being suitable for substantial development as a holiday destination, mainly for package holiday tourists from Europe. N-II was the former name for the National Route from Madrid to Barcelona and France. Montseny Range
Montseny () is a mountain range west of the coastal hills north of Barcelona. It is part of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range. Features The Montseny massif is located within a triangle formed by the AP-7, C-17 and C-25 roads. It has the highest mountains in the area south of the Pyrenees and dominates the plains south of Girona. To the south lies the plateau of La Calma. In between is the Valley of the Tordera River. The highest peaks are Turó de l'Home (1,712 m), Les Agudes (1,703 m), El Matagalls (1,697 m) and Puig Drau (1,344 m).
