''At Cafe 6'' is a 2016 Chinese-Taiwanese romance film directed by Neal Wu and starring Dong Zijian, Cherry Ngan, Austin Lin, Ouyang Nini and Song Yiren. It was released in Taiwan on July 15, 2016 and in China on July 29, 2016. Plot On a rainy night, Miss Liang argues with her long-distance boyfriend. She would've gone back home after an extra shift, had her car not broken down. She followed a bearded passerby to a place address that was not in the sixth lane, but was named “Street Six Cafe” to look for shelter from rain. The owner served a cup of unsweetened cappuccino and told a story that took place in the summer of 1996. (Due to the turmoil of the “political stance” of Dai Liren, who plays the role of a cafe owner, this part of the clip was deleted when it was released in mainland China.) Liao Ming-yi (; born 1980) is a Taiwanese filmmaker best known for his directorial and cinematographic debut '' I WeirDo'' (2020), which is the first Asian feature film to be shot entirely on an iPhone and earned him nominations for Best New Director and Best Cinematography in the 57th Golden Horse Awards. The Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival and Taipei Golden Horse Awards () are a film festival and associated awards ceremony held annually in Taiwan. The festival and ceremony were founded in 1962 by the Government Information Office of the Republic of China (ROC) in Taiwan and is now run as an independent organisation. China Movie Channel Media Awards (电影频道传媒大奖) are presented at each Shanghai International Film Festival by China Movie Channel. Voted by the reporters in the entertainment industry, the awards are aimed at "promoting medium-and-small-budget homegrown movies and exposing talented young directors and actors". The individual categories were "Most Attractive Director" (最受关注导演), "Most Attractive Actor" (最受关注男演员) and "Most Attractive Actress" (最受关注女演员) during 2007–2010. Dong Zijian (, born 19 December 1993) is a Chinese actor. He is best known for his roles in ''Young Style'' (2013), '' Mountains May Depart'' (2015), ''De Lan'' (2015), and '' At Cafe 6'' (2016). Early life and education Dong is born in Beijing, China. His father, Dong Zhi Hua is also an actor; and his mother, Wang Jing Hua is an artist manager in China.
