Ahmed Ololade (born 13 January 1995), known professionally as Asake, is a Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter. He was previously signed to YBNL Nation and Empire Distribution. His stage name "Asake" is his mother's name. In September 2022, his debut album '' Mr. Money with the Vibe'' was released, breaking the record for the biggest opening day for an African album on Apple Music at the time. The album debuted at number 66 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart and recorded the highest charting Nigerian debut album in the history of the chart at the time. His sophomore album ''Work of Art'' was released in June 2023, becoming his second album to debut at number 66 on the ''Billboard'' 200. The ''Billboard'' 200 is a record chart ranking the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States. It is published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine to convey the popularity of an artist or groups of artists. The chart grew from a weekly top 10 list in 1956 to become a top 200 list in May 1967, acquiring its existing name in March 1992. Tobechukwu Victor Okoh (born 5 December 1989), known as Peruzzi, is a Nigerian singer. He began recording music after working with Rodney malice at the age of seven. Though his signing to Davido's DMW was being disputed at some point, Peruzzi is a front member of the 30 Billion Gang (30BG), a record label including Blacktycoon, Tunegee, and B-Red. Peruzzi was featured on 2Baba's single 'Amaka'. Career Peruzzi began his musical career with Golden Boy Records in 2016, before getting signed to Davido Music World in 2018. Peruzzi's 2018 single Majesty, off his Heartwork EP featured a video appearance by 2018 '' Big Brother Naija'' runner up Cee-c. Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael (born 19 December 1994), known professionally as Zlatan Ibile or simply Zlatan is a Nigerian rapper and singer. He is the CEO and founder of Zanku records. In 2014, he won the Airtel-sponsored One Mic talent show held in 2014, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Towards the end of 2018, Raphael released a single titled "Zanku", with a new dance routine of the same name. The 23rd BET Awards took place on June 25, 2023, to celebrate achievements in entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and movies. It was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, and had no host due to the WGA Strike. The nominations were announced on June 8. Canadian rapper Drake received the most nominations with seven, followed by GloRilla with six, 21 Savage and Lizzo with five each, and Beyoncé, Burna Boy, Chris Brown, Ice Spice, and SZA, all with four. MOBO Awards
The MOBO Awards (Music of Black Origin, also known as the MOBOs) are an annual British music award presentation honouring achievements in " music of black origin", including hip hop, grime, UK Drill, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and Bantu music. The MOBO Awards were founded by Kanya King and Andy Ruffell. The first ever award was presented to Baby D, in the Best Dance Act category. The Headies (originally called the Hip Hop World Awards) are honors established in 2006 by ''Hip Hop World Magazine'' to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry. All Africa Music Awards (also referred to as AFRIMA) is an annual awards event to reward and celebrate musical works, talents and creativity around the African continent while promoting the African cultural heritage.
