Artur Nepokoychitsky
Artur Adamovich Nepokoychitsky (; Reforms of Russian orthography#The post-revolution reform, Russian (before 1918): Артуръ Адамовичъ Непокойчицкій; ; ) was an Russian Empire, Imperial Russian military leader of Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, Polish extraction. A participant of the Crimean War and Russo-Turkish War (1877-1878), Russo-Turkish War, he was the chief of staff to Grand Duke Nicholas Nikolaevich of Russia (1831–1891), Grand Duke Nicholas Nikolaevich of Russia during the Russo-Turkish War, until his dismissal at the end of the war. He joined the Page Corps before being promoted to the Preobrazhensky Regiment. From 1841 he served on the General Staff and participated in military operations in Chechnya and Dagestan. In 1849, he ran of the headquarters of General Alexander von Lüders which went to Transylvania. Nepokoychitsky distinguished himself during the occupation of Sibiu. Slutsk
Slutsk is a town in Minsk Region, in central Belarus. It serves as the administrative center of Slutsk District, and is located on the Sluch (Belarus), Sluch River south of the capital Minsk. As of 2025, it has a population of 59,450. Geography The city is situated in the south-west of Minsk Region, north of Salihorsk. Climate History Slutsk was first mentioned in writing in 1116. It was initially part of the Principality of Turov and Pinsk but in 1160 became the capital of Principality of Slutsk, a separate principality. The Imperial Order of Saint Stanislaus (; ), also spelled Stanislas or Stanislav, is a Russian dynastic order of knighthood founded as '' Order of the Knights of Saint Stanislaus, Bishop and Martyr'' in 1765 by King Stanisław II Augustus of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. In 1831 after the downfall of the November Uprising, the order was incorporated into the Chapter of Russian Orders as part of the honours system of the Russian Empire by Emperor Nicholas I of Russia. In 1839, the Russian Order of Saint Stanislaus received new statutes, including granting status of nobility on its recipients in all three classes.
