Lloyd Ingraham
Lloyd Chauncey Ingraham (November 30, 1874 – April 4, 1956) was an American film actor and director. Biography Born in Rochelle, Illinois, Ingraham appeared in more than 280 films between 1912 and 1950, as well as directing more than 100 films between 1913 and 1930. Films for which he is known include ''Scaramouche'' (1923), ''The Padrone's Ward'' (1914) and ''Rainbow Valley'' (1935). He performed in several films with John Wayne including ''Rainbow Valley'' (1935), ''Empty Saddles'' (1936), '' Westward Ho'' (1935), ''The Lonely Trail'' (1936) and '' Conflict'' (1936). He died of pneumonia in the Motion Picture Hospital at Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, aged 82. His remains are buried in Chapel of the Pines Crematory. The Western is a genre set in the American frontier and commonly associated with folk tales of the Western United States, particularly the Southwestern United States, as well as Northern Mexico and Western Canada. Daniel Lowell Peterson (born January 9, 1936) is a former American professional sports, professional basketball head coach. He resigned from his most recent position as the head coach of Olimpia Milano in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A, LBA after the team was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 2011 Italian league playoffs. The team then announced that he would assume another role with the club. He is nicknamed "The Coach" for his legacy in Italian basketball. Lottie Williams (January 20, 1874 – November 16, 1962) was an American character actress whose career spanned both the silent and sound film eras. Early life Lottie Williams was born on January 20, 1874, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Career She began her career on the stage and appeared in Broadway productions during the 1900s. Williams debuted on film in a supporting role in the 1920 silent comedy, ''A Full House''. She went on to appear in over 70 films, mostly in smaller and supporting roles, during her 30-year career. Silent Film
A silent film is a film with no synchronized Sound recording and reproduction, recorded sound (or more generally, no audible dialogue). Though silent films convey narrative and emotion visually, various plot elements (such as a setting or era) or key lines of dialogue may, when necessary, be conveyed by the use of intertitle, title cards. The term "silent film" is something of a misnomer, as these films were almost always accompanied by live sounds. During the silent era that existed from the mid-1890s to the late 1920s, a piano, pianist, theatre organ, theater organist—or even, in large cities, a small orchestra—would often play music to accompany the films.
