The clubs that participated were the champions from the three founding football associations of the HFF: Athens, Piraeus and Macedonia. The championship was won by Aris for their 3rd title. Initially, with the completion of all 6 matches, Aris held the first place in the standings. But then the HFF accepted the objections of his opponents for illegal use of the player Siotis (which he played in two clubs at the same season), awarding 2–0 in their favor, the last 3 of his 4 games (an away draw against AEK Athens and home wins against Olympiacos and AEK), while at the same time zeroed the club of Thessaloniki for those games. For a few days, the ranking was formed with the declaration of the AEK as champion by the HFF and Aris bringing the issue to its general assembly. In the end, Aris was vindicated in the appeal and won the title. The point system wa ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

List Of Greek Football Champions
The Greek football champions are the winners of Super League Greece, the highest professional football league in Greece. Officially the title has been contested since 1927–28, in various forms of competition, officially bearing the Super League name since 2006–07. Olympiacos are the current title holders, having won in 2024–25. However, it was put on hold at the start of the First Balkan War. After a 9–year hiatus following World War I and the Greco–Turkish War, it was revived, organised by the Greece Football Clubs Association ( ... It involved at least 1.6 million people (1,221,489 Greek Orthodox from Asia Minor, Eastern Thrace, the Pontic Alps and the Caucasus, and 355,000–400,000 Muslims from Greece), most of whom were forcibly made refugees and ''de jure'' denaturalized from their homelands. On 16 March 1922, Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Kemal Tengrişenk stated that " e Ankara Government was strongly in favour of a solution that would satisfy world opinion and ensure tranquillity in its own country", and that " was ready to accept the idea of an exchange of populations between the Greeks in Asia Minor and the Muslims in Greece". Eventually, the initial request for an exchange of population came from Eleftherios Venizelos in a letter he submitted to th ...
