The Archdiocese of Cebu (more formally the Archdiocese of the Most Holy Name of Jesus in Cebu; ; ; ; ) is a Latin Church archdiocese of the Catholic Church in the Philippines and one of the ecclesiastical provinces of the Catholic Church in the country. The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral is the ecclesiastical seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Cebu in Cebu City, Philippines. The church is dedicated to Mary, mother of Jesus, Mary, under her title, Immaculate Conception, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception and to Saint Vitalis of Milan. Cebu was established as a diocese on August 14, 1595.
