Antwan Peek
Antwan Peek (born October 29, 1979) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2003 NFL draft. He played college football for the Cincinnati Bearcats. Peek also played for the Cleveland Browns. Early life Peek is a 1998 graduate of Woodward High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was a letterwinner in football, basketball, and track & field. In football and basketball, he was named the Team's Most Valuable Player as a senior. College career Peek played college football at the University of Cincinnati. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. They play closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary). 2005 Houston Texans Season
The 2005 Houston Texans season was the franchise's 4th season in the National Football League and the 4th and final season under head coach Dom Capers. The Texans completed the season with the worst record in franchise history (a record that would later be matched in 2013). This led to the Texans obtaining the first selection in the NFL draft for the second time since the franchise formed in 2002. The team fired head coach Dom Capers after the season; he was replaced by Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak, who would coach the team up until 2013. 2004 Houston Texans Season
The 2004 season was the Houston Texans' third in the National Football League, all of which they had spent under head coach Dom Capers. The team finished 7–9, two games better than the previous season, and came third in the AFC South, the first time they had not finished bottom. The Texans also earned their first victory over the Tennessee Titans, the franchise previously known as the Oilers, who had left Houston after the 1996 season.
