Anime USA
Anime USA (AUSA) is an annual three-day anime convention held during September/October at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia. Programming The convention typically features an AMV contest, artist's alley, cosplay contest, dealer's room, host club/maid cafe, LARP, musical performances, tabletop gaming, video rooms, and workshop rooms. History The Northern Virginia Anime Association first organized the convention. Anime USA moved from the Sheraton Premiere in Tyson's Corner to the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in 2007, a location previously used by Katsucon and Otakon, due to the convention's growth. Renovations and the Hyatt Regency Crystal City layout caused problems during the 2008 convention. In 2010, the video games room was located in a sectioned off part of the parking garage, with at times a cap of 45 people, due to crowding and fire marshal concerns. Kristine Sa (June 6, 1982) is a Vietnamese-born Canadian singer and songwriter. Career Sa was born in Song Be, a small town near Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) in Vietnam. When she was six, her family moved to Canada and she grew up in Toronto. She enjoyed singing and performing since she was little, and attended a special performing arts school in ninth grade. She was in a television pilot called ''Wexford''. When she was in high school, a friend of hers contacted Nemesis Records to look at her webpage and the CEO Minh-Dan Pham was interested in her writing. ''Johnny Wander'' is a former webcomic written by Ananth Hirsh and illustrated by Yuko Ota. It was published bi-weekly. Move (Japanese Band)
Move (styled as M.O.V.E or m.o.v.e, and previously as move) was a Japanese band. The band consisted of producer t-kimura (), rapper motsu () and singer yuri (). t-kimura left the band in 2009. History t-kimura formed the band move and by 1997 they released their first single "Rock It Down", but they achieved fame when their follow-up single, "Around the world" was used in the anime ''Initial D''. In 2005, the band changed their name by adding abbreviation marks between letters and are currently still signed with Avex Group. The same year, the band traveled to the United States and performed at the Anime USA convention in Northern Virginia. She provides voices for English language versions of Japanese anime films and television series. Early life Monica Rial was born in Houston, Texas. Her father is from Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain. When she was young, her family would often visit Spain. She would translate for her younger brother some of the European Spanish-dubbed cartoons, which included anime shows ''Doraemon'' and '' Dragon Ball Z'', often imitating the various characters.
