Andrzej Kolikowski
Andrzej Kolikowski (19 January 1954 – 5 December 1999), nicknamed ''Pershing'', was a mafia boss and a close associate of the Pruszków mafia in Poland. Pershing was arguably the best-known Polish gangster of the 1990s. He was assassinated by his enemies while on vacation in Zakopane. Kolikowski was born in Ożarów Mazowiecki. He was first arrested by the police at the age of 17. When he graduated from a car service school, he started working for a local cable factory. In 1980s he first went to West Germany, from where he started smuggling dollars, cars and other goods unavailable in communist-controlled Poland. There he also met his later accomplices: Jeremiasz Barański (''Baranina'') and Nikodem Skotarczak (''Nikoś''). He invested the money in an illegal casino opened in Warsaw in late 1980s. Pruszków Mafia
The Pruszków mafia ( or ) was a Polish criminal organization originating from Pruszków in the 1990s and one of the most infamous in the country's modern history. It was active in the vicinity of the city of Warsaw. The group is known for being involved in large car-theft rings, drug trafficking (including cocaine, heroin, hashish and amphetamine), kidnapping, extortion, weapon trafficking (including AK-47's) and murder. Even though law enforcement dealt a severe blow to the organization in 2000 with Jarosław "Masa" Sokołowski taking the stance of crown witness. Despite rumors sparked by the release of a few high-ranking members in 2017 the group has not been significantly active since, with many of the freed bosses re-arrested on subsequent charges. Wołomin Mafia
Wołomin is a town in the Warsaw metropolitan area in the Masovian Voivodship, seat of Wołomin County. Wołomin is situated approximately east of Warsaw, the capital of Poland, near the railway to Białystok. It has approximately 43,000 inhabitants and covers an area of . In the 1990s and 2000s, the town was synonymous with the "Wołomin gang", one of two major organised crime groups in the country.
