Andriy Diachkov
Andrii Diachkov (born 28 April 1985) is a Ukrainian volleyball player, a member of Ukraine men's national volleyball team and Montpellier UC. Career Clubs Ukrainian period Andrii Diachkov started his volleyball career in the Ukrainian Superleague in 2005. He played for Azot-Spartack Cherkassy over two seasons in 2005/2007. With this team he won the Championship of Ukraine in 2005/2006. In the season 2006/2007 he became the Vice champion of Ukraine and took second place in Ukrainian Cup. The next two seasons (2007/2009) Diachkov performed for Lokomotyv Kharkiv. He became a two time Ukrainian Cup winner, Champion of Ukraine and Vice champion of Ukraine. In volleyball season of 2008/2009 he became the best outside-hitter of the Championship. Baikonur
Baikonur ( kk, Байқоңыр, ; russian: Байконур, translit=Baykonur), formerly known as Leninsk, is a city of republic significance in Kazakhstan on the northern bank of the Syr Darya river. It is currently leased and administered by the Russian Federation as an enclave until 2050. It was constructed to service the Baikonur Cosmodrome and was officially renamed Baikonur by Russian president Boris Yeltsin on December 20, 1995. During the Soviet period, it was sometimes referred to as Zvezdograd (), Russian for ''Star City''. The rented area is an ellipse measuring east to west by north to south, with the cosmodrome situated at the area's centre. Foreign visitors need pre-approval from the Russian authorities to visit both the town of Baikonur itself and the Cosmodrome. The Ukrainian Men's Volleyball Super League ( uk, Волейбольна Суперліга) is the top men's league of Ukrainian volleyball. It was founded in 1992. It is run by the Volleyball Federation of the Ukraine (FVU). Before, the Ukrainian teams played in the championship of the USSR, founded in 1933. During the seasons 1991/92-1999/00 called the Premier League ( uk, Волейбольна Вища ліга). Between leagues at the end of each season, the teams exchanged - the worst two (one - directly, the second - in the case of unsuccessful performance in the play-off matches) are eliminated in the relegation - they occupy a place of lower league teams.
