Andrew Rowsey
Andrew Rowsey (born June 18, 1994) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the UNC Asheville Bulldogs and the Marquette Golden Eagles. Early life Rowsey was born on June 18, 1994, in Lexington, Virginia. He attended Rockbridge County High School, and was named the Timesland player of year following his junior and senior seasons. He finished as the second highest scorer in Virginia high school history behind Allen Iverson. Despite this, he was lightly recruited, choosing UNC Asheville over offers from Richmond and High Point. College career As a freshman at UNC Asheville, Rowsey averaged 20.3 points per game, second among freshman in Division I. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The Delaware Blue Coats are an American professional basketball team in the NBA G League based in Wilmington, Delaware. They are the G-League affiliates of the Philadelphia 76ers. Portsmouth Invitational Tournament
The Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, (PIT), is the only postseason camp restricted to college basketball seniors. The Portsmouth Invitational is the first of two NBA pre-Draft (sports), draft camps, the other being the Orlando pre-Draft (sports), draft camp. The tournament typically begins the first or second Wednesday that follows the championship game of the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. The Penn State Nittany Lions basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team representing the Pennsylvania State University.
