Anatoly Ivanovich Blatov (born Ivanov, russian: Анато́лий Ива́нович Блатов (Иванов); 11 July 1914 – 1 October 1988) was a Soviet diplomat and Communist Party official. Between 1972 and 1982 he was assistant to Leonid Brezhnev. Blatov graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk National University of Rail Transport (1940) and Communist Party Supreme School (1945). Anatoli Stepanovich Ivanov (russian: Анато́лий Степа́нович Ивано́в; May 5, 1928 – May 31, 1999) was a Soviet and Russian writer known for his novels on rural topics. Ivanov was born on in the village of Shemonaikha (now in the East Kazakhstan Region of Kazakhstan). His parents, Marfa Loginovna and Stepan Ivanov, came from peasant farming families, but he was not involved in the farm, living in the district center where his father worked as head of the district department of Soyuzpechat'. In 1946-1950 he studied at the journalism faculty of Kazakh State University. Anatoli Vasilyevich Ivanov (russian: Анато́лий Васи́льевич Ивано́в; June 26, 1934 – April 2, 2012) was a Russian solo- timpanist, percussionist with the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, book author and People's Artist of Russia (1997). Anatoly Georgievich Ivanov (born 19 September 1950) is a Russian politician and a five-term deputy to the State Council of the Republic of Adygea. From 2008 to 2011, Ivanov was the State Council's chairman. Early life and career Anatoly Ivanov was born on 19 September 1950 in Buryatia (then part of the Soviet Union, now Russian Federation). He is of Russian ethnicity. From 1968 to 1970, Ivanov carried out military service in the Soviet Army. Upon completing military service, he enrolled in an industrial-pedagogical institute in Chita, where he studied until 1973 but did not receive a degree. From 1973 to 1974, Ivanov worked at a power station in Chita before being elected to the Chita Central Concil of People's Deputies in 1975. From 1975 to 1981, Ivanov studied at Sakhalin State University (then Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk State Pedagogical Institute), where he graduated with a teaching degree in history and social science. ''Amphibian Man'' (russian: Человек-амфибия, translit. Chelovek-amfibiya) is a 1962 Soviet science fiction romance film starring Vladimir Korenev and directed by Vladimir Chebotaryov and Gennadi Kazansky. The film stars Vladimir Korenev and Anastasiya Vertinskaya in the lead roles. It is an almost fable-like story based upon the eponymous 1928 novel by Alexander Beliaev. It focuses on a youth named ''Ichthyander'' (russian: Ихтиандр, Ichtiandr) (from Greek: fish+man) who was surgically altered to survive under the sea. Unlike traditional science fiction movies of the time the film focuses much more on the concept of love won and lost.
