Eastern Conference Champions
Eastern Conference Champions (often abbreviated ECC) was an American Indie rock band originally from Philadelphia and later residing in Los Angeles, CA, they consisted of Joshua Ostrander, Greg Lyons, and Melissa Dougherty. The band gained attention when it was announced that they would be featured on the ''Twilight Saga: Eclipse'' soundtrack in May, 2010. Band history Eastern Conference Champions (also known as ECC) was formed by Joshua Ostrander and Greg Lyons in 2005, shortly after leaving the rock band Laguardia. They released ''The Southampton Collection'' EP on Retone Records in March 2006. In late 2006 the band was signed to Geffen/Suretone Records, a subsidiary of Geffen Records. Thom Panunzio
Thom Panunzio is a music producer and engineer. His career began in 1974 at the Record Plant Studios NYC, working with John Lennon. Later, he became a staff engineer at the Record Plant, and later at The Hit Factory. Panunzio worked often with Jimmy Iovine, making several records together. Panunzio also worked with Andrew Loog Oldham on The Rolling Stones' '' Metamorphosis'' in 1975, and later that year worked with Bruce Springsteen on '' Born to Run''. In 1978, he worked with Patti Smith on ''Easter'', while simultaneously working again with Springsteen on '' Darkness on the Edge of Town''. Panunzio has also produced, engineered and mixed artists including Bob Dylan, U2, Stevie Nicks, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Motörhead, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, The Who, Iggy Pop, Joan Jett, David Bowie, Tom Petty, and Paul Butterfield, among others. Suretone Records is an American record label established in 2006 as a joint venture by Jordan Schur, former CEO of Geffen Records, and Interscope Records, to release alternative rock music. Several high-profile bands such as Weezer, The Cure, Rooney, New Found Glory and Angels and Airwaves remained on Geffen and carried the Suretone imprint. The label shut down in 2010 after the failures of albums by Chris Cornell and Shwayze. In 2016, the Suretone label returned with distribution through the Alternative Distribution Alliance. Owen Morris
Owen Morris (born in Caernarfon, Wales) is a Welsh record producer who has worked with rock bands including Oasis, the Fratellis, Ash, the View, Loso and the Verve. Biography Morris started working in the music industry as a sound engineer at Spaceward Studio in Cambridge, England when he was 16. He continued as an engineer until 1994, when he mixed and mastered Oasis's debut album ''Definitely Maybe''. He continued working with Oasis for their subsequent two albums ''(What's the Story) Morning Glory?'' (1995) and '' Be Here Now'' (1997). Morris appears on the cover of ''(What's the Story) Morning Glory?'' holding the album's master tape.
