Alura (DC Comics)
Alura In-Ze is a character appearing in media published by DC Comics, usually those involving Superman. Alura is the Kryptonian daughter of In-Zee, wife of Zor-El, mother of Supergirl/ Power Girl, and paternal aunt (by marriage) of Superman. Created by writer Otto Binder and artist Al Plastino, the character first appeared in ''Action Comics'' #252 (May 1959). The character has appeared in media adaptations of the ''Superman'' and ''Supergirl'' comics, including live-action films, television programs and video games. Alura was portrayed by Mia Farrow in the 1984 film ''Supergirl''. Laura Benanti portrayed the character in the first two seasons of the Arrowverse series ''Supergirl'', with Erica Durance taking over the role in season three. Joshua Middleton
Joshua Middleton (sometimes credited as Josh Middleton) is an artist and designer working in the animation, film, comics, and book industries. In 2004 he was nominated for an Eisner Award as "Best Cover Artist" for his work on Marvel's '' NYX'', ''X-Men Unlimited'', and ''New Mutants''. Career Middleton started his career as a comic book artist in 2000 as penciler for CrossGen's '' Meridian'', written by Barbara Kesel. After that, he joined a small independent British publisher, Com.x, planning to release there his creator-owned series '' Sky Between Branches'', but only did a preview issue in early 2002, along with some other work for the publisher. After contributing covers and short stories to Marvel's ''X-Men Unlimited'' series beginning in late 2002, he signed an exclusive contract in 2003, and created '' NYX'' with Joe Quesada as writer, but left the title after four issues in 2004 when his contract ran out. The Arrowverse is an American Superhero fiction, superhero media franchise and shared universe that is centered on various interconnected television series based on DC Comics superhero characters, primarily airing on The CW as well as web series on CW Seed. Ursa is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. She first appeared in the 1978 film '' Superman: The Movie'' portrayed by actress Sarah Douglas. The character made her comic book debut in ''Action Comics'' #845 (January 2007). General Zod
General Zod is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an List of Superman enemies, adversary of the superhero Superman.
