The Russian Football Union (, ''Rossiyskiy Futbolnyy Soyuz'' or RFS) is the official governing body of association football in the Russia, Russian Federation. With headquarters in Moscow, it organizes Russian amateur and football in Russia, professional football, including the Russia national football team, men's, Russia women's national football team, women's, youth, Russia national beach soccer team, beach soccer, Russia national futsal team, futsal and Paralympic national teams. Dmitry Yurievich Pirog (; born 27 June 1980) is a Russian politician and former professional boxer. In boxing he competed from 2005 to 2012, and held the World Boxing Organization (WBO) middleweight title from 2010 to 2012. The Russia national football team () represents Russia in men's international football. It is controlled by the Russian Football Union (, ), the governing body for football in Russia. 1992 Soviet Top League
The 1992 CIS Top League was a scheduled but eventually canceled season in the Soviet Top League, an attempt to preserve All-Union competitions. The competition was canceled following the joint letter from all five Muscovite clubs that expressed their disagreement with the competition arrangements.
