Fanchon Royer
Fanchon Royer (1902–1986) was an American film producer, active during the 1930s. She was one of the few woman producers in Hollywood during the era, associated with low-budget independent studios such as Mayfair Pictures. After graduating from the University of Southern California, she entered films during the silent era as an extra. Later work as a film journalist and publicity agent led on to her career as a poverty row producer. In 1936 she was production assistant to Nat Levine at Republic Pictures, but resigned to establish her own company. However this only produced one film.Pitts p.330 Following her film career, she moved to Mexico and upon the suggestion of Monsignor Edward R. Kirk, she became a successful writer. Mayfair is an area of Westminster, London, England, in the City of Westminster. It is in Central London and part of the West End. It is between Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly and Park Lane and one of the most expensive districts in the world. The area was originally part of the manor of Eia and remained largely rural until the early 18th century. Dorothy Vernon (born Dorothea Christine Arens, November 11, 1875 – October 28, 1970) was a German-born American film actress. Vernon was born Dorothea Christine Arens as the daughter of a Lighthouse warden. When she emigrated to the United States is unknown, but it may have been as late as 1897. Richard T. Rush (August 16, 1882 - March 11, 1956) was an Australian-born American character actor of the silent and sound film eras. During his 28-year career, he would appear in between 160 and 300 films (depending on the source). The large majority of his parts were smaller roles, although he would occasionally be cast in a smaller featured role. His first part was in the silent 1920 film, ''Three Gold Coins'', starring Tom Mix. His final appearance would be in 1948's '' Devil's Cargo'', part of " The Falcon" film series. John Ince (actor)
John Edward Ince (August 29, 1878 – April 10, 1947), also credited as John E. Ince, was an American actor of stage and motion pictures, and a film director. He was the elder brother of Thomas H. Ince, and Ralph Ince. Biography John Ince was born on August 29, 1878, in New York City. In 1910, he was a member of a stock theatre at the Alcazar Theatre (1885), Alcazar Theatre in San Francisco, California, where he worked alongside actor Howard Hickman. Ince became a member of The Lambs, The Lambs Club in New York City in 1919 like his brother Ralph, who had joined in 1916. A leading man from the early 1910s, he also directed and scripted several of his own vehicles. Concentrating almost exclusively on directing from 1915 through 1928, Ince returned before the cameras as a character actor in the early years of the Sound_film, talkies. Kit Guard (born Christen Klitgaard May 5, 1894 - July 18, 1961) was a Danish-American actor whose career started in the 1920s. In the sound era, Guard would often be cast in supporting roles as “a small-time hood.” Biography and career Guard left his birthplace of Hals, Denmark, around the turn of the 20th century, one of five brothers to do so. He moved to San Francisco, and in 1913 he became assistant stage manager and actor at the Alcazar Theatre there. He later acted on stage at the Wigwam Theatre in San Francisco. During World War I, he entertained troops overseas in France and England and later served in the Rainbow Division of the U. S. Army.
