"Aeroplane" is a song by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers from their sixth studio album, ''One Hot Minute'' (1995). It was released in February 1996 by Warner Bros. as the third single from the album and a music video, directed by Gavin Bowden, accompanied its release. The song was written by Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Dave Navarro and Chad Smith, and produced by Rick Rubin. It peaked at number eleven on the UK Singles Chart and number eight on the US ''Billboard'' Modern Rock Tracks chart. Although the song was left off the band's ''Greatest Hits'' album, the music video was included on the accompanying DVD. "Into Dust" is a song by American duo Mazzy Star that appears as the ninth track on their second album ''So Tonight That I Might See''. The song's arrangement is sparse and features only acoustic guitar and cello as an accompaniment to the vocals. Although never released as an official single, the song has charted on two occasions on the UK Singles Chart. "Warped" is a song by American alternative rock group Red Hot Chili Peppers from their 1995 album, ''One Hot Minute''. It was released as the first single from the album in August 1995 by Warner Bros. It is the first track on ''One Hot Minute'', beginning with an unusually quiet intro, before suddenly kicking into a very heavy, crunching riff, and ends with a mellow, melodic outro. Anthony Kiedis' vocals are distorted and echoed throughout, and contrast dramatically with the rapping present on the band's previous material, especially on their more fast-paced songs such as this; short lines are stretched to fill an entire measure. Funk is a music genre that originated in African-American communities in the mid-1960s when musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of various music genres that were popular among African-Americans in the mid-20th century.
