Adrian Siemieniec
Adrian Siemieniec (born 13 January 1992) is a Polish professional football manager and former player who manages Ekstraklasa club Jagiellonia Białystok. Early life Siemieniec is a native of Czeladź, Poland. As a youth player, he joined the youth academy of Polish side Polonia Bytom. He retired at a young age after coming to a conclusion he would not be able to break into professional football. Managerial career Early career His coaching career started when Siemieniec was a student at a University of Physical Education in Katowice. He joined Rozwój Katowice's staff as an intern, and remained there until 2014 as an assistant coach under Mirosław Smyła and Dietmar Brehmer, while simultaneously managing Rozwój's reserve team in his final year in Katowice. Czeladź
Czeladź () is a town in Zagłębie Dąbrowskie (part of historic Lesser Poland), in southern Poland, near Katowice and Sosnowiec. Located in the Silesian Highlands, on the Brynica river (tributary of the Vistula), it is the oldest urban center of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie. The area of Czeladź is 16 km2, and it borders Będzin, Sosnowiec, Katowice and Siemianowice Śląskie. The town is situated in the Silesian Voivodeship. The 2024–25 Ekstraklasa (also known as PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa due to sponsorship reasons) was the 99th season of the Polish Football Championship, the 91st season of the highest-tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927 and the 17th season of the Ekstraklasa under its current title. The 2024 Polish Super Cup was the 34th Polish Super Cup, an annual Polish football match played between the reigning winners of the Ekstraklasa and Polish Cup. The Ekstraklasa champions Jagiellonia Białystok faced Polish Cup winners Wisła Kraków. Initially, the Polish Football Association (PZPN) scheduled the match for Sunday, 7 July 2024. The Polish Super Cup (, ) is an annually held match between the champions of the Ekstraklasa and the Polish Cup winners or, if the Ekstraklasa champions also win the Polish Cup, the Cup's runners-up. As of 2024, the Polish Super Cup has been played 34 times. The most successful club is Lech Poznań, who won 6 times. The most common participant has been Legia Warsaw, as they have played sixteen final games and lost their eight following finals between 2012 and 2021.
