Richard Starkings (born 27 January 1962) is a British font designer and comic book letterer, editor and writer. He was one of the early pioneers of computer-based comic-book lettering, and is one of the most prolific creators in that industry. Career Starkings' lettering style was originally inspired by British comic strip letterers Bill Nuttall and Tom Frame. Starkings' UK career began with lettering jobs in '' 2000 AD''s ''Future Shocks'' and various strips in ''Warrior''. From there he moved to Marvel UK where he lettered Zoids in ''Spider-Man Weekly'' and ''Transformers'' before becoming an editor for the company in the late 1980s. Titles he edited included ''Death's Head'' and '' Dragon's Claws''. However, by the beginning of the 1990s he devoted himself exclusively to lettering, finding work in the much larger comic-book industry in the United States. New York Comic Con
The New York Comic Con is an annual New York City fan convention dedicated to comics, Western comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, cosplay, toys, Film, movies, and television. The Whoniverse is a British media franchise and shared universe consisting of the BBC television series ''Doctor Who'', its Doctor Who spin-offs, spin-offs, and other associated media. The shared universe nature was established by crossing over common plot elements, settings, cast, and characters, usually deriving from the main programme. Joe Casey is an American comic book writer. He has worked on titles such as '' Wildcats 3.0'', ''Uncanny X-Men'', '' The Intimates'', '' Adventures of Superman'', and '' G.I. Joe: America's Elite'' among others. As part of the comics creator group Man of Action Studios, Casey is one of the creators of the animated series ''Ben 10''. Career Starting his professional writing career at Marvel Comics, Casey wrote for several titles, including ''Cable'', '' The Incredible Hulk'' and ''Uncanny X-Men''. He is also the co-creator of the superhero America Chavez. Casey wrote many titles for Wildstorm, like the highly experimental '' Automatic Kafka'' with artist Ashley Wood. Hippopotamus

Comicraft is a company which provides graphic design and lettering services to various (primarily comic book) companies. History The company was founded by Richard Starkings in 1992.
