Abdeslam Ahizoune
Abdeslam Ahizoune (born 20 April 1955 in Tiflet, Morocco) is a Moroccan businessman. He was the chairman of the management board of Maroc Telecom from 2001 to February 2025, when he was replaced by Mohamed Benchaaboun. He was also its former chief executive officer, the main Moroccan telecommunications company. Education Ahizoune was born on 20 April 1955 in Tiflet, located about 60 km from Rabat, to a landowning Berber family. His father Aïssa Ahizoune was a notable of the Khessasna tribe. Tiflet
Tifelt (Arabic: تيفلت) is a town in northwestern Morocco, west of Khemisset and east of Rabat. Tifelt is in a region of Morocco that is rich with ancient history, including settlements by Berbers, Phoenicians and Romans during the first millennium BC. The nearest such major settlements are in Rabat and Volubilis. Tifelt is between the cities of Rabat and Khemisset Tifelt is a town that was served by workers of the United States Peace Corps until the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. The Peace Corps workers had been assisting local women in a beekeeping cooperative, until the U.S. government evacuated the Peace Corps personnel for concerns over their safety. Royal Institute Of Amazigh Culture
The Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture ( (IRCAM); (SGSM); ) is an academic institute of the Moroccan government in charge with the promotion of the Berber languages and culture, and of the development of Standard Moroccan Amazigh and its instruction in Morocco's public schools. The institute is located in the Moroccan capital of Rabat. It was officially founded on October 17, 2001, under a royal decree of King Mohammed VI, and was run by Amazigh scholars and activists. The institute had legal and financial independence from the executive branch of government, but its recommendations about the education of the Berber languages in Moroccan public schools are not legally binding to the government. The Royal Moroccan Athletics Federation (''Fédération Royale Marocaine d’Athlétisme'', FRMA) is Morocco's governing body for the sport of athletics. It was established in 1957 and has been affiliated to the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) since 1958. It is also a member of the Confederation of African Athletics since 1973. History Medi 1 TV was first launched on 1 December 2006 under the name Medi 1 Sat, broadcasting exclusively on satellite, and was co-jointly owned by public Moroccan and French investors.
