AQUIND Interconnector
The AQUIND Interconnector is a proposed high-voltage direct current, HVDC submarine power cable proposed to link France and England. Independent research carried out in Portsmouth by Savanta suggests public support for a new transmission link between Portsmouth and Normandy. These results were reported in a number of Energy industry publications in 2024.
