6th Blockbuster Entertainment Awards
The 6th Blockbuster Entertainment Awards were held on May 9, 2000 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. They were the first Blockbuster Entertainment Awards to present awards for video games in addition to music and film. Below is a complete list of nominees and winners. Blockbuster or Blockbuster Video is an American multimedia brand which was founded by David Cook in 1985 as a Small business, single home video video rental shop, rental shop, but later became a public store chain featuring video game rentals, DVD-by-mail, streaming media, streaming, video on demand, and cinema theater.
