Five-dimensional Space
A five-dimensional (5D) space is a mathematical or physical concept referring to a space (mathematics), space that has five independent dimensions. In physics and geometry, such a space extends the familiar three spatial dimensions plus time (4D spacetime) by introducing an additional degree of freedom, which is often used to model advanced theories such as higher-dimensional gravity, extra spatial directions, or connections between different points in spacetime. Concepts Concepts related to five-dimensional spaces include Superdimension, super-dimensional or Hyperspace, hyper-dimensional spaces, which generally refer to any space with more than four dimensions. These ideas appear in Theoretical physics, theoretical physics, Cosmology, cosmology, and Science fiction, science fiction to explore phenomena beyond ordinary perception. Important related topics include: * 5-manifold — a generalization of a surface or volume to five dimensions. * 5-cube — also called a penteract ...

Canon EOS 5D
The Canon EOS 5D is a 12.7 megapixel digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera body produced by Canon. The EOS 5D was announced by Canon on 22 August 2005, and at the time was priced above the EOS 20D but below the EOS-1D Mark II and EOS-1Ds Mark II in Canon's EOS digital SLR series. The camera accepts EF lens mount lenses. The EOS 5D is notable for being the first full-frame DSLR camera with a standard body size (as opposed to the taller, double-grip "professional" camera body style). It is also notable for its price, suggested at US$3299 without lens, which set a significant new low price point for full-frame DSLRs; its only full-frame competition at the time was the Canon 1Ds Mark II, which cost more than twice as much. On 17 September 2008, Canon announced the camera's successor, the Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Features Sensor and image processing The 5D has a DIGIC II processor and a 35.8 x 23.9 mm full-frame CMOS sensor with 13.3 million pixels (12.7 megapixel eff ...

5D (Fifth Dimension)
"5D (Fifth Dimension)" is a song by the American rock band the Byrds, written by band member Jim McGuinn. It was released as a single in June 1966, and also included as the title track on the Byrds' third album, '' Fifth Dimension''. Lyrical content McGuinn has described the song's lyrics as an attempt to explain Albert Einstein's theory of relativity, and as having been directly inspired by the book ''1-2-3-4, More, More, More, More'' by Don Landis. In a 1966 interview with ''Hit Parader'' magazine, McGuinn stated, "It's sort of weird but...what I'm talking about is the whole universe, the fifth dimension, which is height, width, depth, time and something else. But there definitely are more dimensions than five. It's infinite. The fifth dimension is the threshold of scientific knowledge." Talking to Michael Ross of ''Creem'' magazine in 1970, McGuinn further explained the song's meaning: "'5D' was an ethereal trip into metaphysics, into an almost Moslem submission to an Allah, a ...
