''Podmo Patar Jol'' () is a 2015 Bangladeshi Bengali language historical romantic drama film written by Latiful Islam and directed by Tonmoy Tansen. The film is produced by Sheikh Asifur Rahman, as his production company Tripod Films funded the project. The plot is based on a British colonial era story. It stars Emon, Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, Tariq Anam Khan and Amit Hasan in lead roles with Chitralekha Guho, Nima Rahman and Nipun appearing in supporting roles. The film was released on 18 July 2015. Mahfuzur Rahman Khan
Mahfuzur Rahman Khan, aka, Mahfoozur Rahman Khan (10 May 1949 – 6 December 2019), was a Bangladeshi cinematographer having received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Cinematography a record breaking ten times during his career. Though he was also a film director, actor and producer, he was most famously remembered for working behind the camera in films directed by Humayun Ahmed and other legendary film makers including Shibli Sadik and Alamgir Kumkum. Family Khan was born 10 May 1949 to the renowned family of Hakim Habib Ur Rahman Road in Old Dhaka. He was the eldest of six brothers and three sisters. Humayun Ahmed
Humayun Ahmed (; 13 November 1948 – 19 July 2012) was a Bangladeshi novelist, dramatist, screenwriter, filmmaker, songwriter, scholar, and professor. His breakthrough was his debut novel '' Nondito Noroke'' published in 1972. He wrote over 200 fiction and non-fiction books, many of which were bestsellers in Bangladesh. His books were the top sellers at the Ekushey Book Fair during the 1990s and 2000s. He won the Bangla Academy Literary Award in 1981 and the Ekushey Padak in 1994 for his contribution to Bengali literature. In the early 1990s, Ahmed emerged as a filmmaker. He went on to make a total of eight films - each based on his own novels. Masum Reza is a Bangladeshi playwright, television drama and stage play director. He is best known for writing the screenplay of the television drama serial '' Ronger Manush'' (2004). In 2016, he won Bangla Academy Literary Award in the drama category. Priyanka Gope is a Bangladeshi singer. She won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for her performance in the film ''Anil Bagchir Ekdin'' (2015). It was her debut as a playback singer. Early life and education Gope was trained under Ananda Chakrabarty, Dr. Asit Roy, Pt. Arun Bhaduri, Pt. Urmi Dasgupta, and Waheedul Haq. She completed her B. Subir Nandi (19 November 1953 – 7 May 2019) was a Bangladeshi musician. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer five times for his performance in the films '' Mahanayak'' (1984), ''Shuvoda'' (1986), ''Srabon Megher Din'' (1999), ''Megher Pore Megh'' (2004) and ''Mohua Sundori'' (2015). A B M Shahidul Islam, known as S.I. Tutul, is a Bangladeshi singer and musician who is the lead singer and lead guitarist of the Dhrubotara Band. He also works in the Bangladeshi film industry. Swani Zubayeer (born 2 December 1973) is a Bangladeshi classical singer, composer and music director. He won Bangladesh National Film Awards in best music director category for the film Anil Bagchir Ekdin in 2015.
