35th Bangladesh National Film Awards
The 35th National Film Awards, presented by Ministry of Information, Bangladesh to felicitate the best of Bangladeshi Cinema released in the year 2010. The government announced the names of 25 artistes and technicians for the National Film Award 2010 in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the country's film industry. Prime minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the 'National Film Awards – 2010' to the winners. The government has decided to observe 3 April as National Film Day from this year. The National Film Award 2010 was held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, Dhaka. List of winners Awards were given in 25 categories this year. The president of Bangladesh ( bn, বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রপতি — ) officially the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh ( bn, গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রপতি —) is the head of state of Bangladesh and commander-in-chief of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. Kabir Bakul
Kabir Bakul is a Bangladeshi lyricist and journalist. He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Lyrics 6 times for the films ''Megher Kole Rod'' (2008), ''Swami Strir Wada'' (2009), ''Nisshash Amar Tumi'' (2010), ''Purno Doirgho Prem Kahini'' (2013), ''Nayok'' (2018) and '' Bishwoshundori'' (2020). As of 2013, he wrote about 5000 songs. Early life and career Bakul was born and grew up in Chandpur. He learnt singing from Shital Kumar Ghoshal. In 1987, he first came to Dhaka and gave thirteen lyrics to singer Tapan Chowdhury. Bakul's first song, ''Kaal Shara Raat'', was featured in Ayub Bachchu’s album, ''Moyna''. Sheikh Sadi Khan
Sheikh Sadi Khan (born 1950) is a Bangladeshi composer and music director. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Music Director for the film '' Ghani'' (2006) and Best Music Composer for ''Bhalobaslei Ghor Bandha Jay Na'' (2010). He won Ekushey Padak in 2018 by the Government of Bangladesh. Early life and career Khan began his career under the guardianship of his father Ustad Ayet Ali Khan. He took lessons as a violinist from his elder brother Ustad Bahadur Khan. Khan joined Pakistan Radio in 1965. He started as a Behala player.
