This is a list of Members of Parliament (MPs) elected to the Grand National Assembly for the 25th Parliament of the Republic of Turkey at the June 2015 general election, which was held on 7 June 2015. Electoral districts are ordered in alphabetical order, and parties within the electoral districts are ordered according their ranking within that district. İsmet Yılmaz
İsmet Yılmaz (born December 10, 1961) is a Turkish politician. Previously he was Minister of National Defense and Minister of National Education. Also briefly served as the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly. Prior to entering politics, he worked as a law consultant and mechanical engineer. Early life and education İsmet Yılmaz was born in Gürün, Sivas Province. Following his primary education in his hometown, he enrolled in Haydarpaşa High School in Istanbul. Then, he studied mechanical engineering at the School of Maritime in Istanbul Technical University, graduating in 1982 with a bachelor's degree. Yılmaz attended then Istanbul University's Faculty of Law for education in maritime law and finished in 1987. Mevlüt Karakaya
Mevlüt Karakaya (born 1 January 1963) is a Turkish politician from the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), who has served as a Member of Parliament for Adana since 7 June 2015. Born in Adana, Karakaya graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He became a professor at the age of 37, having continued as an academic in the United States at Indiana University, Michigan State University and Purdue University. He also briefly worked at the World Bank between 1997 and 1998. He has taught at Gazi University, Hacettepe University, İzmir University of Economics as well as Başkent University. Born in Adana, Uslupehlivan graduated from Çukurova University as an engineer and worked in the private sector for 26 years. İbrahim Özdiş (born 17 January 1956) is a Turkish politician from the Republican People's Party (CHP), who has served as a Member of Parliament for Adana since 7 June 2015. He previously served as a Social Democratic Populist Party (SHP) Member of Parliament for Adana between 1991 and 1995. Born in Adana, Özdiş graduated from Çukurova University as a construction engineer in 1979 and began a career in politics in the same year as a member of the CHP Adana branch Executive Board. After the party was shut down in the 1980 military coup, he became the Deputy Mayor of Adana and served between 1989 and 1991. In the 1991 general election, he was elected as an MP for Adana from the SHP, joining the CHP after the party was re-established in 1992. Zülfikar İnönü Tümer
Zülfikar İnönü Tümer (born 1966) is a Turkish politician from the Republican People's Party (CHP), who has served as a Member of Parliament for Adana since 7 June 2015. Tümer graduated from Istanbul Technical University as a construction engineer and founded his own construction company shortly afterwards. He worked as an engineer for the construction of roads and bridges, as well as property restoration projects. He is the son of former CHP MP Emin Bilen Tümer, who served as an MP between 1973 and 1977. He was elected as a CHP Member of Parliament in the June 2015 general election. Elif Doğan Türkmen
Elif Doğan Türkmen (born 1 January 1962) is a Turkish politician from the Republican People's Party (CHP), who has served as a Member of Parliament for Adana since 7 June 2015. Born in Adana, Türkmen graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law and worked as a lawyer in Adana. Coming from a traditionally social democrat family, she had previously been involved in SODEP and was a founding member of the Social Democratic Populist Party (SHP) Women's wing. She joined the CHP after the latter two parties were dissolved. She has been involved in many projects to help women and development in Adana, with some backed by the European Union. Married with one child, she was elected as a CHP Member of Parliament in the June 2015 general election. During the election campaign, she was shot and injured by one of her clients. Mehmet Şükrü Erdinç (born 4 January 1976) is a Turkish politician from the Justice and Development Party (AKP), who has served as a Member of Parliament for Adana since 12 June 2011. Born in Adıyaman, Erdinç graduated from Adana Imam Hatip school and went on to train as a lawyer. He became active in the AKP first as a youth member, working in the party's Çukurova district branch and participating in the party's campaign in every election that it contested. He was elected as an AKP Member of Parliament in the 2011 general election and was re-elected in June 2015. Talip Küçükcan (born 5 March 1963) is Ambassador of Turkey to the Republic of Indonesia. Sadullah Kısacık (born 1 January 1977) is a Turkish politician from the Justice and Development Party (AKP), who served as a Member of Parliament for Adana from 7 June 2015, up until 1 November 2015. He was re-elected to parliament in the 2023 Turkish parliamentary election.
