2021 Superbike World Championship
The 2021 Superbike World Championship (known officially as the 2021 Motul FIM Superbike World Championship for sponsorship reasons) was the 34th season of the Superbike World Championship. The championship was won by Toprak Razgatlıoğlu at Mandalika International Street Circuit, Mandalika round. Race calendar and results The provisional 2021 season calendar was announced on 30 November 2020, with 13 rounds scheduled, and was later revised in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 16 February 2021 the Assen round, scheduled for 23–25 April, was postponed to 23–25 July. On 9 March 2021 the Estoril round, scheduled for 7–9 May, was postponed to an unannounced date and the Navarra round—a new event for the championship—was added into the calendar. On 16 April 2021 the Estoril round was confirmed to be held on 28–30 May. On 29 April 2021 the Phillip Island round was cancelled and a round at Most—another new venue—was added into the calendar. Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli
The Misano World Circuit (officially known as Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli or Misano Circuit Sic 58, and before 2006 called Circuito Internazionale Santa Monica) is a race track located next to the town of Misano Adriatico (Province of Rimini) in the frazione of Santa Monica-Cella. Originally designed in 1969 as a length of , it hosted its first event in 1972. In 1993, the track length was increased to . The Algarve International Circuit ( pt, Autódromo Internacional do Algarve), commonly referred to as Portimão Circuit, is a race circuit located in Portimão, Algarve region, Portugal. The development includes a karting track, off-road track, technology park, five-star hotel, sports complex and apartments. The circuit was designed by Ricardo Pina, Arquitectos. Dean Berta Viñales
Dean Berta Viñales (20 April 2006 – 25 September 2021) was a Spanish professional motorcycle racer. He competed in the Supersport 300 World Championship for the Viñales Racing Team on a Yamaha YZF-R3. Berta Viñales was the cousin of Maverick Viñales, a Moto3 world champion and Isaac Viñales, who has competed in the 125cc, Moto3, Moto2 and Supersport World Championships. Career Berta Viñales debuted in the Supersport 300 World Championship in 2021, where he started in 11 races, reaching his best result in fourth place in the race held at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours. Death Berta Viñales died as a result of injuries sustained in an accident during the first race of the Jerez round. Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto (formerly known as Circuit of Jerez and Circuito Permanente de Jerez), is a racing circuit located close to the city of Jerez de la Frontera, south of Seville and deep within the sherry-producing region in the south of Spain. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya () is a motorsport race track in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. With long straights and a variety of corners, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is seen as an all-rounder circuit. The track has stands with a capacity of 140,700. Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours is a motor racing circuit located in central France, near the towns of Magny-Cours and Nevers, some from Paris and from Lyon. Circuito de Navarra is a motorsport race track that opened in June 2010 near Los Arcos in the Navarre region of Northern Spain. Autodrom Most
Autodrom Most is a hard-surfaced long race track for motorsport outside of the city of Most in the northwest of the Czech Republic. The racing circuit was built between 1978 and 1983, but the Most district was known for organizing motorcycle and car races earlier. Autodrome is used for races of cars, trucks, motorcycles and free circuit rides, but also for test rides of developed cars, training of drivers of fire engines, ambulance and police cars, as well as training of drivers in crisis situations, etc. In April 2021, the Most round was announced as being added into the Superbike World Championship series with a five-year agreement. The TT Circuit Assen is a motorsport race track built in 1955 and located in Assen, Netherlands.
